Daal Ki Poori/Fried Lentil Pancake

POSHTIK POORI/DAAL KI POORI/
POORI WITH LEFTOVER DAAL/
FRIED LENTIL PANCAKE
Hi Friends,
sometimes we need to get some fried stuff. Right? especially in monsoon. So for a change i thought to make poori with simple chana aloo sabzi. Fried stuff is not healthy but i tried to make it bit healthy by using Daal/lentil in it. So i used daal mixed flour.I made it on Janamashtmi with Rava Kesari check here.Lunch was just scrumptious.
I never thought it will come out so tasty. My family loved it. My hubby especially told me that it is so yummy. Even i felt that if you are a real foodie then you only need a cup of tea or sauce to enjoy it. You can enjoy this poori with any chatni/Sauce/dip there is no need of any side dish with it. Just try and see your family enjoying it.

Ingredients:-
Leftover of Fresh Daal  - 1 cup
Wheat Flour                   - 2 cup (as needed)
Oil for frying

Method:-
Take your ingredients

Mix and make a dough out of it
(adjust flour and daal, if daal is less add water in it)

Take a ping pong size ball out of the dough

Roll it

Now cut them in desired size with cutter or anything you have
(i used small bowl to cut it and big lid for two sizes)

Rolled out

Now heat oil in bog vessel/kadai for frying

Now we will check weather oil is hot enough to fry poori
I made a very tiny poori by hand

Slowly slip this poori in hot oil

Within seconds it started floating on the top

Turn and fry till brown
Its ready take it out, So our oil is hot enough

Slowly slip your rolled pooris in oil and fry from both sides

Take Them Out

Pooris are ready to serve

SERVE IT WITH ANYTHING YOU LIKE

I SERVED IT WITH SIMPLE CHANA ALOO

FOR KIDDIES

IT WAS JUST YUMMYYYYYYYYY

Notes:-
  1. Adjust the quantity to make dough with daal and flour. If daal is less add water in it.
  2. If daal is less and you added water to make dough then you need to add spices also as they become less after adding water.
  3. You can use any of your favourite daal to make poori.
  4. Side dish is not required with this, but feel free to choose according to your taste.
HOPE YOU WILL LIKE IT

LOVE
